About the project
PolyGo is an open-source platform for language and cultural exchange through virtual meeting events, built from October 2025 to December 2025 as a Full-stack Developer (Frontend Lead & DevOps/AI Backend Features).
I architected and built the entire frontend from scratch with Next.js 15 — user matching, event scheduling & booking, interactive meeting rooms, a social feed, real-time chat, and the game interface — with full i18n via next-intl.
On the backend, I owned DevOps and the AI modules: deploying and maintaining production infrastructure with Docker, Nginx, and GitHub Actions CI/CD; building AI Live Translate (real-time speech-to-text and multi-language translation during live video sessions) and AI Smart Summary (an automated pipeline that processes meeting transcripts into post-event summaries using Generative AI).
The system's backend runs on ASP.NET Core with C# and PostgreSQL; real-time features are built on Socket.io and WebRTC.
